Use of fiber orientation factor to determine residual strength of steel fiber reinforced concrete

چکیده

The post cracking behavior of steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) subjected to direct tensile stresses is strongly related the distribution and orientation fibers in crack plane, which can be precisely determined using images obtained by computerized axial tomography (CAT). However, these require processing relate them residual resistances SFRC. objective this paper estimating strength SFRC cores coefficient from CAT images. Using as a single simple parameter, percentage with complete sufficiently anchored hooks has been determined, allows (1) number active any section specimens (2) establishing probability that are depending on specimen fibers' geometry. Then, strengths computed Laranjeira superposition model, obtaining differences experimental results, mainly due dispersion fracture different contribution cut fibers.
